Wagner Act
закон Вагнера (Национальный закон о трудовых отношениях)
Был принят 5 июля 1935. Предусматривал право рабочих на создание профсоюзов, заключение коллективных договоров [collective bargaining agreement] с предпринимателями через выборных представителей и право на некоторые виды забастовок. По этому закону было образовано Национальное управление по трудовым отношениям [National Labor Relations Board]. С 1932 по 1947, когда в качестве поправки к нему был принят закон Тафта - Хартли [Labor-Management Relations Act of 1947], членство в профсоюзах возросло с 4 до 15 млн. человек, и на подавляющем большинстве предприятий были заключены коллективные договоры.
